At Vacation Foods, our goal is perfect orders. Occasionally, a product you order may be temporarily unavailable. Unless otherwise instructed by you, we will always attempt to make reasonable substitutions for out-of-stock products.

During Checkout, you will be asked to choose a substitution preference for your entire order. You can choose either standard substitutions or no substitutions unless indicated.

If you have a preferred substitution policy for specific items please indicate in the comment box of that particular item. This comment applies only to the individual item and will override your general substitution preference selected during Checkout

Standard Substitution Policy

To assure your satisfaction with any substitutions, our shoppers adhere to the following guidelines:

1.       If an ordered product is out of stock, we will substitute a different size of the same product.

2.       If a different size is unavailable, we will substitute a different brand of the same product. We will never change the flavor or type of your ordered product.

3.       If a substitution cannot be made based on these guidelines, we will not substitute.

Please keep in mind that you are only on vacation for a relatively short period of time.  Alternate brands are in most cases very acceptable. We are limited to products and brands available in Canada.  We choose only the best quality products to ensure your satisfaction.
